Bio

You hear it everywhere in the art world… there is something about the light of the Southwestern sky that is special. For me as a photographer, it is not only how it illuminates the world, but it is also about what it stirs inside – curiousity, intrigued, alive – as if nature is speaking to me through the way she lights up the landscape. Add to that the freedom of wide-open spaces, the spirit of wild mustangs, the beauty of ancient sandstone canyons, and you have a magical combination for photographing the natural world. I attempt to make images that reflect the look and feel of the Southwest, using both a realistic eye and artistic ideas to capture these unique features.

Prints ordered directly from this website are printed by me on high-end professional printers, using archival ink and paper combinations, or specific fine art papers by request.  This method has been certified for lightfastness up to 200 years, if proper care is taken.  These prints will be titled and signed, and represent my personal attention to detail and accuracy.

Thank you for taking the time to browse my work.  I hope you enjoy the experience.
