During my most recent workshop at Bosque del Apache, the skies were blocked up with clouds and gave up no light for photographing the cranes and geese returning to Bosque.  The ever-optimistic Dick Hyman (all around great photographer) kept mentioning it’s never over til the sun has fully set.  Sure enough, on our way back to Socorro, the sky had opened up some and the colors were astonishing.  And for a few precious minutes we all scrambled to capture the scene.  This is a three-shot pano of what Mother Nature can offer to those who never say die.
